2024 North Regina All Stars
10U Team: Our 10U team took the field with enthusiasm and determination this summer, competing in the Minor AA Summerball program. Over two tournaments, they racked up an impressive 5-3 record, showcasing incredible growth and teamwork along the way. Watching these young athletes improve with each game was a true joy, and we couldn’t be prouder of the progress they’ve made. Their hard work and dedication have laid a solid foundation for the future.
Minor Team: The Minor team faced a challenging road this season, starting with a tough Provincial series against the Moose Jaw Minor AAA team. Despite winning just one game in the five-game series, they regrouped and set their sights on the Minor AA Prairies Championships in the Little League Alberta Summerball program. Competing in three tournaments, including Championship Weekend, they achieved an impressive 9-4-1 record. Their journey culminated in Championship Monday in Calgary, where they battled hard against a formidable Medicine Hat team. Though they came up short in that match, they bounced back in style, securing a well-earned bronze medal with a dominant 12-2 win over Chinook West. This team’s resilience and determination are truly inspiring.
Major AA Team: The Major AA team decided to squeeze in a little more baseball fun after the regular season by participating in a summer tournament. Their trip to Medicine Hat was filled with excitement, camaraderie, and plenty of on-field action. While the tournament was about enjoying the game and spending time together, it also gave them the chance to refine their skills and build lasting memories. We hope they had an amazing time and cherish the experience.
Major AAA Team: What a season it’s been for our Major AAA team! They dominated the Moose Jaw All Stars in the Provincial series, sweeping their way to the Canadian Little League Championships in Kingston, Ontario. But their accomplishments didn’t stop there. We are incredibly proud to announce that our Major All-Star team has been honored with the prestigious Joe Shea Award for being the most sportsmanlike team!
Though the season might not have gone exactly as planned, these athletes showed the true essence of sportsmanship. Every game brought its challenges, but our team faced them with unwavering resilience, respect, and heart. Their dedication, teamwork, and positive spirit have turned their journey into a remarkable success. Thank you, Major All-Stars, for representing our league with such class and integrity. You’ve made us all incredibly proud!
Junior All-Stars: The Junior All-Stars showed incredible tenacity and skill at the Canadian Little League Championships, where they finished 4th in the nation. Each game was a hard-fought battle, with close scores that kept everyone on the edge of their seats. Their performance on the national stage was a testament to their hard work, determination, and passion for the game. We're incredibly proud of these young men and can't wait to see what they achieve next year. Their journey has only just begun, and the future looks bright for this talented group.
